German 'Paperclip' team

Most of the “Operation Paperclip” team of German scientists under Wernher von Braun were sent to Fort Bliss, Texas, arriving from Germany in different groups in late 1945 and early 1946. This photo was taken in 1946. Wernher von Braun is standing in the front row, seventh from the right.
