Bauhaus Museum Weimar | The Bauhaus first opened its doors in Weimar, Germany in 1919. Today the small Bauhaus Museum (seen facing a famous statue of Goethe and Schiller) reflects that history. After the Bauhaus was forced to move to Dessau in 1925, some teachers and staff remained in Weimar to establish a more traditional school of industrial design.
