Bauhaus Chair | This futuristic-looking chair (seen here as a computer rendering) was designed by the Bauhaus designer Marcel Breuer in 1925. Later known as the Wassily chair, it features tubular steel and leather combined to create a unique style. The chair was first manufactured in the late 1920s by Thonet, a German-Austrian furniture manufacturer, as the Model B3. It is only one in a series of modern metal chairs designed by Breuer. It is still manufactured and sold today. (Buy it from Amazon.com.) Photo Wikimedia Commons More > The Bauhaus and Walter Gropius
