July 2009: This view of the East Side Gallery shows a section that is being renovated for the 20th anniversary of the Gallery and the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989. This is the fourth and most complete restoration of the Gallery since its creation in 1990. Workers are repairing the aging concrete Wall sections and preparing them as a new and improved canvas for the artists to repaint their damaged artwork.
