The main entrance to Tempelhof looked very different in 1954, in this photo taken for the 30th anniversary of the Berliner Flughafen-Gesellschaft mbH (BFG). The “Zentralflughafen” (“central airport”) sign was then atop the building rather than on the front, as it is today. For a modern view of the building, see the previous photo.
