In this 1955 postcard view, we can see the Tempelhof boarding gates underneath a huge curved roof. Until its closing at the end of October 2008, Tempelhof was a commuter airport with regional flights to destinations within Germany or near Germany. Over the years Tempelhof has been featured in many Hollywood and other movies, including two Billy Wilder films, A Foreign Affair (1948) and One, Two, Three (1961), as well as The Bourne Supremacy (2004).
