  • Alliierten Museum - The Allies Museum is located at Clayallee 135 in Berlin-Zehlendorf, open daily from 10 to 6. Appropriately, this useful, interesting Web site is available in English, French, or German.
  • Haus am Checkpoint Charlie - This museum on Friedrichstraße at the location of the former Allied checkpoint is devoted to the history of the Wall and the many attempts to thwart that barrier. The Web site is mostly informational.
  • Bauhaus-Archiv Museum - This architectural museum can be found on Klingerhöferstraße 14 in Tiergarten. Very nice Web site in German.
  • Deutsches Historisches Museum (DHM) - This historical museum is located at Unter der Linden 2, not far from the Brandenburg Gate. In German and English.
  • Film Museum Berlin im Filmhaus - This cinema museum is in the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz. It concentrates on Berlin-Hollywood-Germany elements and a special Marlene Dietrich exhibition. (Also see our own German-Hollywood Connection site.)
  • Jüdisches Museum Berlin - The Jewish Museum, designed by Daniel Libeskind, became a big draw for its architecture alone, even before it had any exhibits! Click here for more about contributing - in German or English.
  • SMPK - Staatliche Museen zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz - Primarily Berlin’s four larger museums at Charlottenburg, Dahlem, Museum Island and the Tiergarten. Web site in German and English.
