1 Der Reichstag (1998) Germany's former parliament - Berlin's historic Reichstag is being transformed into the new home of Germany's national parliament, the Bundestag. In the process it's getting its former dome back, albeit in a more modern form.

2 Model of Berlin's new government complex - This model (located in the Info Box in Berlin) clearly shows the Spreebogen or "Spree river bend" site of the new German government complex.

3 The Info Box on a rainy day - The Info Box on Berlin's Potsdamer Platz was designed to inform visitors about the plans for one of the world's largest building projects.

4 Old traffic tower - This traffic control tower (Verkehrsturm) dates back to the 1920s, when the Potsdamer Platz became the first German intersection to be controlled by an electric traffic signal.

5 The Brandenburg Gate - Berlin's best known landmark: das Brandenburger Tor, the Brandenburg Gate. Designed by Carl G. Langhans, the only Berlin city gate still standing was built in 1788-91.
